Kaziranga National Park, Shillong, and Cherrapunji together create a journey through some of the most beautiful landscapes of Northeast India.
Kaziranga National Park is a land of wild beauty, famous for its vast green grasslands, dense forests, wetlands, and rich wildlife. The park is home to the majestic one-horned rhinoceros, elephants, deer, wild buffaloes, and many colorful birds.
Shillong, known as the “Scotland of the East,” is a beautiful hill station surrounded by rolling hills, pine forests, waterfalls, and crystal-clear lakes. The cool climate, cloudy skies, and scenic roads create a calm and refreshing atmosphere. Places like Umiam Lake and Shillong Peak offer stunning views of the green hills and valleys.
Cherrapunji, or Sohra, is famous for its breathtaking waterfalls, deep valleys, caves, and living root bridges. Thick clouds float across the mountains, while heavy rainfall keeps the land green throughout the year. Spectacular sites such as Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sisters Falls showcase the raw power and beauty of nature.
Together, Kaziranga, Shillong, and Cherrapunji present a perfect blend of wildlife, mountains, waterfalls, forests, and clouds — a journey filled with adventure, peace, and unforgettable natural beauty for the tourist.
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station meet by our driver & transfer to Kaziranga
National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel. Evening is free
for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Early morning explores any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant. Apart
from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and
if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a
number of water bodies inside the Park. Return to the resort for breakfast. Mid morning at
leisure. In the afternoon enjoy jeep safari through the National Park. Later take transfer to
Shillong . On outskirt of Shillong halt at the Borapani Umiam Lake, a tranquil lake
surrounded - by sylvan hills. You can enjoy boating and take a stroll on the beautiful
lake. Night stay at Shillong.
Post breakfast explore Mawlyynong, visit Living root bridge and Mawlynnong Village Asia's
cleanest village. The residents literally farm on the edges of these mist-shrouded cliffs that
plunge sharply into the valley, later drive to Dawki, visit Umngot river & Boating popular for
clean water, and local sightseeing at Dawki. Also, visit the Bangladesh border. Later take
transfer to Cherrapunjee. Night stay at Cherrapunjee.
Early morning head to Tyrna village, a ½ hr drive away from Cherrapunjee. From there it will
take a relaxed 1.5 hr walk down to the Nongriat Village and then a 2hr walk up to reach
double decker root bridge. The path to the double-decker root bridge is 3Kilometers long
and has around 3,500 stairs, and descends 2,400 feet. Another 1 hour of trek approx. 3 km
from double decker bridge to visit beautiful and scenic Rainbow falls. Post activity trek
back to Tyrna village and later drive to Cherrapunjee. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Post breakfast in the morning; hit the road to Cherrapunji, the heaviest rainfall destination
in the world Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves.
At Cherrapunji visit Nohkalikai falls, being the world’s fourth tallest waterfall, visit Eco
park, Seven Sister falls and Mawsmai cave later drop to Guwahati Rly Station/ Airport for your
onward Destination.
